2016

The year is 1610. King Basilio of Spain, driven by superstition and paranoia, despairs over the bad omens and the frightful future the stars foretell for his newborn son. In a drastic attempt to change the fate he fears, the king sends his infant son to live in exile. 

 

Sent to live a life of solitude the heir to the throne is imprisoned while the kingdom is divided and turmoil ensues. As the characters choose sides and battle ensues, secrets are revealed that change the course of everyone’s lives. The heir must wrestle with his own mind and the world his father has forced upon him to take over the throne and rule with compassion.
